In 2000 Luis Castillo the 2Bman for the Marlins entered the AS break with a .369 average, .468 OBP, and .914 OPS. And he had 4 RBI in 312 PA.
In the 2nd half he would hit .301 with a .369 OBP and .702 OPS and drove in 13 runs to finish the season with 17 RBI in 626 PA.
That first half though will forever be my favorite MLB stat line.

My favorite and worst stat line is- the 2004 super team was not only swept, but never led a complete inning. Not one. In four games. That’s a stat.
