I thought they said sprained finger. Either way kudos for him for realizing the injury was going to keep him from helping the team. A lot of non. Team players would try to play through it and hurt the team worse. But of course he was traded to the astros in the off season so he no longer plays for the cardinals so that’s their problem not the cardinals

Didn't you hear?
He refused to report.
That aside, I am confident his sprained finger is sore.
And that his sore finger is strained.

Didn’t you hear? someone cannot be traded if he has a no trade clause unless he agrees to be traded so he was never traded. I mean anyone with any intelligence can figure out what’s no trade clause is it’s in the name no trade clause can’t be traded unless they agree thus never traded

Heard Arenado in post game interview. Described that his finger couldn''t function properly when releasing a throw . Never had this type problem in his career unable to throw the baseball probably.
All but said he wasn't going t play Sat & Sun. and rest it thru the All Star break. At least how I interpreted what he said .

Did anyone else watch the interview by reporters ? If so , was my 'take' above correct or not ?

Can’t hit. Over paid. Doesn’t lead. Now hurt a lot. He’s perfect.
