Friday Trivia: 25 Home Runs + 25 Stolen Bases
Pete Crow Armstrong reached the 25 Home Run + 25 Stolen Bases Club last night in his 92nd game played this season.
What MLB player reached the 25 Home Run + 25 Stolen Bases Club the fastest doing it in 69 games played?

Re: Friday Trivia: 25 Home Runs + 25 Stolen Bases
Alfonso Soriano?
Re: Friday Trivia: 25 Home Runs + 25 Stolen Bases
Hmm, I'll guess Alfonso Soriano, he was a beast there for a while. If not him probably somebody from the 70s, 80s or 90s when stolen bases were a lot more popular

I checked Ricky for you, shockingly it took him 117 games played in 1990 to reach 26 HR's (he hit two in that game) + 56 SB's.
Re: Friday Trivia: 25 Home Runs + 25 Stolen Bases
Out of high school maybe. He was always lean and built for speed but he ran 185-190 in his prime.Davis was a skinny 165 lber
Davis went to the same HS, Fremont in LA, as George Hendrick and Chet Lemon. I'd take them and Davis for my OF any day. Bobby Tolan, Willie Crawford, and Disco Dan Ford could back them up.
Fremont alums Bobby Doerr and Bob Watson would provide a fine start on the IF. Gene Mauch could manage.
Fremont hasn't produced a MLB player in 25 years, may not still exist, but what a talent pipeline they had going.

When he came to the Cardinals he was still really skinny and that was near the end of his career.
