Fedde starting Saturday
Per Goold.
It’s like they WANT to lose.

Re: Fedde starting Saturday
This is surprising to who? He will make every start until he is traded.
Re: Fedde starting Saturday
It seems he’s pitching to secure his spot on the roster…
Re: Fedde starting Saturday
I’d rather have him starting than Mikolas. Unfortunately both are going the next few days.
Re: Fedde starting Saturday
He gets lit up again…..he becomes impossible to trade…

Re: Fedde starting Saturday
+1. Miko is worse (if possible).
It's the SCF =
"The "sunk cost fallacy" refers to the tendency to continue investing in a failing endeavor, even when it's clear that doing so is not rational, simply because of the resources already invested. This bias, explored by Keith Law in various contexts, highlights the irrational influence of past investments on present decisions. Essentially, people often "throw good money after bad" rather than admitting a previous investment was a mistake."

I wonder if Bloom had a say?
Re: Fedde starting Saturday
LOL....not here to glowingly speak of Fedde’s “upside” but it is greater than Miles!
Not that that is saying much!
Younger and his cost in $$ for the balance of 2025 is less than half of Mikolas.
Fingers crossed!

Good question. I hope we aren't headed for a tenure of Mo jr.

Re: Fedde starting Saturday
The decision to keep Mikolas and Fedde in the rotation should tell you all you need to know. Mo is more interested in his ego than winning. The man is too stubborn and/or lazy to make a move when needed. He will do NOTHING of substance if this team is (somehow) still in it at the deadline.
I would even go so far as to guess he prefers them to be out of it at the deadline. It would make that lazy (donkey)'s job easier.

I'm not surprised.
No doubt this is another lost season.
Another reason to look forward to next season.
I wonder how long Bloom will last.
Deja vu...
...Cardinals under Busch III rule.
