They don’t have anyone that you want to go to the ballpark and see. They don’t have a superstar, and they are an average team. No superstar, no 5-year postseason streak.
Team has missed the postseason the last two seasons and they don’t have a superstar. That’s a bad combo. At least those post-Pujols teams in the mid-2010s were very good teams and were always playing in October.
So Colorado has better fans than us? It says more about Card's fans than theirs. They draw better than many good teams.

Even those post-Pujols teams had excitement and buzz for a few years. They brought in Beltran, who was a pretty big star in his own right. You had post season hero and local boy Freese. Wainwright. Not to mention people already beating the drum that Molina was going to be a hall-of-famer. He was probably at the height of his powers then, too. And some young talent that at least started fast before fading out, like Wacha and Piscotty.

Not only that, the ballpark experience is boring (thus my U-Man comment above). If you're a Vegas Cardinals fan, you're probably aware of the Golden Knights. Man, that's a party! It's loud, caters to a young, vibrant audience -- even if they don't win, you're entertained. If you want to do an interesting experience, go on YouTube and watch how starting lineups are introduced in Busch Stadium versus other parks. Busch's in-game experience feels like a library. Classic rock, boring graphics, nothing catering to casuals, just the old farts who still keep score.
They NEED casuals to decide to want to drive downtown and the experience is part of that.
Even our AAA team the aviators are fun to watch and it's a great experience. I have half season tickets to those games and even with the heat it's a fun place to be

It’s an awesome ballpark. We’ve even gone to the Desert Dogs lacrosse team out in Henderson and those are fun. I get it, it’s Vegas, you need the spectacle. But a little spectacle goes a long way to get people to show up. The Cardinals are afraid of alienating old-timers so they do spectacle very sparingly.
