I estimated 10,000 - 12,000.
Also noticed how easy it was to hear Nat's fans cheering.

Exactly...remember staying even if the game was lousy, to watch Albert or Big Mac bat.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 08:31 am I'm a diehard, and I just can't muster any excitement for the team. Who's the face of this team? Do we have one? Who's the player you're going to stop what you're doing and watch when the game's on?
We don't have one. Or anybody close to one.

I literally walked right up to the front of the concession stand not once but twice, NO LINE!
I'd bet actual was in the 12-14,000 range.

I mean parking is great, concession stand lines, bathroom and traffic but man the atmosphere (as you know) just isn't the same as it was before 2024.Absolut wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 13:34 pmSame. Very sadrockondlouie wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 08:36 am Was there

Yup. I felt bad when John Ulett does his “welcome to baseball heaven” intro.rockondlouie wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 13:36 pmI mean parking is great, concession stand lines, bathroom and traffic but man the atmosphere (as you know) just isn't the same as it was before 2024.Absolut wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 13:34 pmSame. This is going to sound bizarre, but the U-Man is an example of why they have an attendance problem.Absolut wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 13:37 pmYup. What goes around, comes around. This team is back where it was when Johnny Peralta was the star of the team. The person most in demand on the team was Fredbird.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 08:31 am I'm a diehard, and I just can't muster any excitement for the team. Who's the face of this team? "The Cardinals have problems that the endless flow of TV-booth propaganda won’t solve. If anything, the constant Chuckle Hut party is turning viewers off" Bernie makes a lot of good points.desertrat23 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2025 22:05 pm https://www.stlsportscentral.com/2025/0 ... iew-7-9-25
Guess Bernie addressed this today. The comparison to the Rockies should make everyone nauseous.
Not only that, the ballpark experience is boring (thus my U-Man comment above). If you're a Vegas Cardinals fan, you're probably aware of the Golden Knights. Man, that's a party! It's loud, caters to a young, vibrant audience -- even if they don't win, you're entertained. If you want to do an interesting experience, go on YouTube and watch how starting lineups are introduced in Busch Stadium versus other parks. Busch's in-game experience feels like a library. Classic rock, boring graphics, nothing catering to casuals, just the old farts who still keep score.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 15:13 pm They don’t have anyone that you want to go to the ballpark and see. They don’t have a superstar, and they are an average team. No superstar, no 5-year postseason streak.
Team has missed the postseason the last two seasons and they don’t have a superstar. That’s a bad combo. At least those post-Pujols teams in the mid-2010s were very good teams and were always playing in October.
