Posting information relevant to the Blues is a positive thing. Discussing and discerning its validity is what forums are for. Problem is some attack the messenger for some reason.

The fact that you keep falling for it is not our problem. I hope it isn't this hard for you to spot fake news in real life.

If you’re talking about his playoff performance since he joined the blue… you have not been watching our playoff games and/or doing the least bit of homework.

That I can agree with. Your narrative is akin to ancient star gazers seeing patterns in the stars, casting them as gods and objects, and contriving a mythology around them. The dots don't all connect, the objects aren't real, and the story is myth. Is there some truth there? #1 Kyrou's contract terms are not attractive to anyone. Not even the Blues at this point.
Here is a more thorough explanation of my thinking..
1. We all heard Army express the frustration with the core in early Feb.
2. Yes, the team played better after that episode, but I doubt that Army has completely taken his eye off that "problem".
3. At this point in time, we hear on the street that Army is shopping Kyrou and only Kyrou. Again, we don't know how true this is, but....that is the rumor.
It seems very likely (approx 85%) that Army was referring to Kyrou in early Feb. I don't know for sure. I'm connecting loosely-connected dots.
1. Yes, he did. Rightly so.
2. Yes, they did. Team record win streak. Until Holloway went down they were playing as well as any team in the league. Your doubt here is the issue, it's likely true in and of itself. Army has added two centers and traded Bolduc for a big young talented defenseman, plugging weak spots in the lineup, likely addressing "the problem" at least partially, and that all the winning erased some of it, too.
3. "We" don't hear any of this on the street. You should have observed by now that most Army trades are ones you don't see coming. Did you see the offer sheets coming, Fowler, Pius Suter, Nick Bjugstad, Logan Mailloux? Sure there was general awareness of weak spots in the roster but the specific names and assets in those trades came out of left field. Many people thought Kyrou would be traded before his trade clause kicked in, but he was not traded. If he does get traded we'll know when it happens. Old adage, sometimes the best trades are the ones that never happen.

My dots aren't that loosely connected. You need to think more on your own, instead of letting other people think for you. Do this for homework. Instead of turning on the TV to check the weather every 30 minutes, just go outside and figure it out for yourself. It will come to you if you just use your brain a bit.

“To know that we know what we know, and to know that we do not know what we do not know, that is true knowledge.”
― Nicolaus Copernicus
Moving on.
You keep using several of the common Logical Fallacies in your argument. So in the spirit of Copernicus, lets get to know what we know, and to know that we do not know what we do not know.
It is a quick read to see that you have used the first two Logical Fallacies in this thread. Presenting lists within this quote to start the support of your augment that follow a Slippery Slope while using Hasty Generalizations in most every supporting argument. What is interesting is those that responded with a list quote known facts, state their assumptions, and do so without too much conclusion based on the premise of an event.
I am not going to go though the effort to cite you, but you do seem to have leveraged very one of the Logical Fallacies many times over. Might be worth it to read Owl. I am pretty sure we all had be aware of Owl or the The Oxford Guide starting with High School , maybe not.
https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writ ... acies.html
Slippery Slope: This is a conclusion based on the premise that if A happens, then eventually through a series of small steps, through B, C,..., X, Y, Z will happen, too, basically equating A and Z. So, if we don't want Z to occur, A must not be allowed to occur either. Example:
If we ban Hummers because they are bad for the environment eventually the government will ban all cars, so we should not ban Hummers.
In this example, the author is equating banning Hummers with banning all cars, which is not the same thing.
Hasty Generalization: This is a conclusion based on insufficient or biased evidence. In other words, you are rushing to a conclusion before you have all the relevant facts. Example:
Even though it's only the first day, I can tell this is going to be a boring course.
In this example, the author is basing his evaluation of the entire course on only the first day, which is notoriously boring and full of housekeeping tasks for most courses. To make a fair and reasonable evaluation the author must attend not one but several classes, and possibly even examine the textbook, talk to the professor, or talk to others who have previously finished the course in order to have sufficient evidence to base a conclusion on.
A final quote that gets attribution to many places, but I do like this claimed source.
“Do not correct a fool or he will hate you, correct a wise man and he will appreciate you.”
― Bruce Lee

All Kyrou needs is a desire to compete hard and he will be a perennial All-Star.

Kyrou is back in the remedial class, but he has an incredible tutor.
I would relax the rules on corporal punishment in his case- if needed.

I do not hate anyone. I'm here because I love my city, and I don't want us to miss out on hockey excitement. I want for our town what all other cities enjoy.dr0zombie wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025 10:38 amWhat is fun is I had to go look for a Copernicus quote. The dots don't all connect, the objects aren't real, and the story is myth. Is there some truth there? Sure, there are real stars in the sky.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑09 Jul 2025 15:07 pmYou are correct. Army spoke in a general sense, and it was a bit of a leap for me to pin it on Kyrou.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 10:32 amI think he was simply referring to the core in general. Thomas, buch, kyrou, parayko, faulk, schenn. I genuinely dont understand why army making comments about the “core” needing a shake up is really just a shot at kyrou.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 10:22 amHmmm. Last February when Army said essentially that we need to get rid of our longest-held players because things aren't changing, to whom was Army referring? Was that Kyrou, or the guy that drives the Zamboni?Nublues69 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 10:01 amSays who sir who is saying this... analyst, teams that have pipe dream. You were not hear but this went on every summer for parayko since he started in the nhl...every summer. He was never traded. Just cause some one says hay we want him doesnt mean we are shopping. lOLa smell of green grass wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025 09:22 amI'm a just the messenger.

― Bruce Lee
I believe that you are overthinking my arguments or you own. Not sure which. Common sense isn't hard.
I love it when people reply to my content. My common sense product sells better when stocked on the same shelf as poor thinking.
