My little buddy Schotzy (male cat) “watched” countless games sleeping curled up in my lap. As he struggled near the end, he would walk up and tap me on the knee… signal to pick him up and put him in my lap. It was the last game of the 2012 postseason. His breathing was difficult but he slept. We lost the final playoff game to the Giants. He went to his blanket and didn’t wake up in the morning.

He was 17.

the loss of a pet (family member) isn't easy. I could use a little pick me up. This morning (3 hours ago). My best buddy Nuggy, our 16 year old healthy cat curled up next to me, and passed away

I don't even know why im posting this here to be honest. My wife and i lead a pretty secluded life so i guess i don't have a lot of people i could even tell.

anyway, hopefully we can get a cards win today. i could use something.

If you respond, i apologize if i don't reply, i'm not sure if i'll be back on today

god bless

Sorry to hear it! I don't know what happened to my childhood pets. They got old but then my parents said they were going to a farm. Really wish I knew where it was so I could visit them but for some reason it's not allowed. Tried finding it like 10 years ago but all the "animal farms" I found on Google kept hanging up on me when I explained over the phone. Weird.

The forum is intend for Cardinal baseball. In the process of evolution, the forum provides a means to many type of human conditions. This is one.

The strength of the board is measured by its propensity to expand its origin to address that human condition.

There in lies strength in numbers. I commend you all for offering verbal injects to a hurting human being.

Kudos men.
