Pallante does not have enough swing and miss stuff, and he's too inconsistent. 1 K tonight against the Nats? Unacceptable. I'd deal him.

And Pages needs to be relegated to backup later this year or in the future or just released. He can't hit and is not some kind of pitcher whisperer as one know it all poster on CT suggests. Overvalued by a POBO who cannot evaluate talent.

He was getting shelled often earlier this season, but rockets were finding gloves and the hot air of summer that carries the ball over the wall hadn't arrived yet. 6 HRs in 1 game should not have been a shock. He dishes up plenty of meatballs.
