Armstrong Makes Three Depth Signings

Post by Big_G »

All signed to 1 year deals. All currently play in Springfield.

Zherenko G
Skinner D
Luff RW

Also, in the video, each team's prospects are ranked. Blues are ranked at 15. I agree with the guys in the video, I think they should be ranked higher than that.

Thanks for posting. Not on you, but the inflection of Mark Pye's voice is annoying (sorry if you are Mark). Just too exagerated

Hmmm. We've needed an ELITE 2C for years. Same with an ELITE RHD. If our prospect pool is decent, where are the upcoming elite players at those 2 positions? Answer: You wouldn't find a single one in the STL prospect pool that is ready for the NHL. Till Dvorsky is starting in the NHL at 2C, he is only a bird in a bush IMO. Where did we go to get the precious elite RHD? Montreal. Where is Montreal ranked? #2. Hmmm. Rankings look pretty stellar based on that transaction.

I wish they would provide the rankings of elite prospect Centers and RHD. Those seem to be the most valuable prospects by far. On that, St Louis would be scary low I bet.

Army and the Blues do not select high in the draft. Not ever. This is their clear preference, IMO. Why would anyone be surprised that our ranking is 15? It surprises me that anyone is surprised.

I agree about Pye’s voice, it’s like fingernails on a blackboard.

while you're not wrong, I subscribe to that channel because they're going out of their way to post Blues content, and I appreciate and support that
