Sad about Bolduc? Thank Adam Jiricek's knees!

What do Adam Jiricek and Logan Mailloux have in common?
Answer: They are both potential elite RHD with ISSUES. With Jiricek, it is his knees and head. With Mailloux, it's his personal life.

Why am I telling you this? Why should I care so much?

Elite RHD can only be gotten at the TOP of the draft, and this means that they are typically out of the Blues reach at 15-20.

So how does Army compensate for this and secure and elite RHD for the roster? He overlooks the ISSUES, hoping that they will just go away. In the case of Jiricek, his health issues are very likely not going away, and that is what brings us to Mailloux. Maillloux is essentially Jiricek 2. Mailloux was desperately needed because the Jiricek pick in 2024 was a fail.

And what are the other ramifications? Getting an elite RHD will cost you an elite player. Say goodbye to Bolduc, Blues fans. Bolduc is a winger and new ones at that position can be grabbed at #15 in the draft.

Yessirr. Bolduc is gone because Army placed a bet on Jiricek's knees and lost.

Are you mad yet? Just wait till you see what Army gives up for a legitimate 2C next year. Stancl? Dvorsky? Snuggerud? All 3?

But that doesn't compare to the dream of finishing bottom 5 in the league. Think about how much fun that would be. It makes all the sense in some world.

Can't let Bolduc leave town without the facts being put on the table.

Some people are having a hard time accepting that Army traded a beloved sure-fire winger in Bolduc, for the 3rd-best RHD on Montreal with issues and limited NHL experience.

Someone has to tell the good Blues fans WHY WHY WHY this trade happened. Army certainly will not. All that Army had to say about Bolduc is that he will need to be put on a short leash next year.

Goodbye, Bolduc. We sure loved you.

Where are you finding Del Taco now? When I visit my son in Tempe, AZ I make it a point to make a couple trips there. Can't find one in StL.

Per Jim Montgomery...
This is a guy (Logan Mailloux) that probably goes TOP 10 in the draft...!!! He is going to be special.

That is great. I'm glad that the Blues want to discuss the Logan Mailloux / Bolduc trade.

Now would be a good time to ask Army how he planned to ever land an elite RHD when he drafts 15-20.

Now would be a good time to ask Army how he plans to get an elite RHD if Logan Mailloux busts.

Now would be a good time to ask Army how Montreal had 2 RHD prospects BETTER than Logan Mailloux, and we got their 3rd best one.

Now would be a good time to ask Army how we win a cup when other teams have more talented players at the key positions (RHD, 2C) than we do.

If you are looking for a good place to eat I suggest Circle 7 Ranch on Manchester. They have a 2nd location somewhere, but I haven't been. I've ordered nearly everything on the menu and it's always great food and the service has always been pleasant! A little pricey for a burger or wrap but it's worth it IMO.

Prior to picking up the Army poms poms regarding Mailloux....

Ask Army 1 question.... Before you tell us about this great and wonderful RHD (Mailloux), please tell us about the last wonderful elite RHD that you acquired, Adam Jiricek. When will we see Jiricek in the NHL?
