As I read this “completely amused”, I think back to a time long before Marmol was the manager. Back then I was in the select minority of posters who pointed out the issues with Mo running this team. Most of the board bashed me calling me entitled for questioning MO’s ability to do the job. I was told it was all Matheny who was the issue.

Now most have seen I was correct in my questioning of how he runs this team. I saw the red flags back in 2014. Took most far too long to see the issues.

That is fair! Make it a 76 Pinto. Classic. Oli drives first shift. Mo in the rocking chair.
That's how it would have to be. Oliver would be lost without Mo telling him what to do.

Im thinking a nice turd brown color Pinto. With no air conditioning.
Puts me in mind of a summer school carpool to SEMO back in the day. One joker drove a 76 Pinto like that. There were four of us in the car and he pulled out in front of a Big Rig on 67 highway. We all were lucky no one was coming the other direction and truck driver
managed to avoid crushing all of us by switching lanes. That ended car pooling in the Pinto, too dangerous!
Sounds like you were lucky that day. Was oli driving?
Not that time. He was a math teacher, did not drive well, but beat the odds that day. Oli would have timed it so we were all crushed.

They should be tarred and feathered and handcuffed together and catapulted off into the Grand Canyon.

I would like to run their toothbrushes through my crack and pee in their cereal.

When the team I’m insanely and over emotionally involved with loses, I will take it extremely personal and wish ill will on all involved.

…how’d I do boys?

Mozeliak is a useless putz which is blatantly obvious to all but a few.

That fact has nothing to do with being insanely and over emotionally involved.

Now that is a highly articulated outburst!

I only hope they were reading
Excellent!
After being cut loose they should also be deported and never allowed back in the country!

I’ve been on the fire Mozeliak bandwagon since 2015.

One -1 - uno - playoff series win in the past 10 years.

Thankfully he’ll be out of here in less than 3 months.

Amazing how little blame DeWitt gets and he's the one who has control over the biggest factor: money.

For years I blamed Mo but defended Dewitt. That changed for me around 2019 when I started to see both shared in the blame.

What changed my view was year after year of addressing one big need and ignoring others filling them with low talent players to avoid increases to payroll.

I cracked up at Brad Thompson slobbering over oli's "great move" to ph Pozo in the 8th inning yesterday. Any manager with half a brain makes that move there.

Hi Bad,
For the longest time I defended DeWitt Jr, since the Cards were typically in the top 7-8 in payroll. I felt that Mo squandered it on bad long term FA signings. But as I’ve seen our minor leagues also decline, I even have to criticize BDW Jr. now.

And what’s worse is that I think DeWitt III will be worse. Clearly, the way he’s responded to fans in the press tells me he can’t read the room.

Cheers,

I’m a little more patient. I joined the FIRE MO bandwagon in 2017.

Then I started DRIVING the wagon when he fired Shildt. While Uncle Shildty had his flaws, but he got us playing sound fundamental baseball again and he apparently told our hitters to ignore the “3 True Outcome, uppercut swing for HR’s approach” and got us hitting and running and winning again. And promptly got fired since it was The Cardinal Way rather than The Moronoziliak Way.
