I don't know why I never pieced this together but Virginia Madsen was his sister. Duh and Doh.

I rarely get disturbed by things I see onscreen. Blood, gore, docs about serial killers, they don't bother me a bit. The torture scene in Dogs is one of those rare exceptions. I still to this day have a hard time watching that scene. I believe that speaks to his ability as an actor.

He was also in Species, which remains one of the greatest films of all time (not really) for a person of my age due to the incredible amount of nudity from Natasha Hentridge (sp). The man had a great and interesting career. He leaves a great library of films to rewatch. Rest easy.

Stole every Kill Bill scene he was in.

For the longest time I got him confused with Tom Sizemore, not bc they necessarily look alike but bc they play the same type. Sizemore was apparently a much bigger jerk though.
