How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
He was apparently offered in a deal with Montreal, for Peterka, and in the offer for Dobson. It sounds like Armstrong tried harder to trade Kyrou than Mo did to trade Arenado. How will Kyrou respond?

It’s gotta suck to be in his shoes no doubt
But it’s a business and DA’s gotta try and do what’s best for the team
Minus the playoffs I thought Kyrou had a great year and his best as a Blue
He’s had a rough go here as far as fan support (some warranted/most of it not) and honestly would’t be shocked if he’s getting to the point where he’d consider waiving the NTC just for the sake of a fresh start
Don’t think he’s waiving for Buffalo though
I’m open to trading Kyrou but it’s gotta be for the right piece
Byram ain’t it

Hopefully better than Tarasenko did when he realized he wasn’t that important to St. Louis
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
If those rumors are indeed even true
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
Maybe he'll ask for a trade to Buffalo?
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
If he had any balls, he’d put in the work and prove everyone wrong that wants him traded.
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
He would feel good that another team was so interested in trading for him that it forced Army to listen to the offer but knowing that the Blues held him in such regard that the ask was high. Too high to get a deal done.
That would certainly boost his confidence.

The guy that has improved multiple facets of his game over the last few seasons? Is he soft, yes. Does he need to be stronger on the puck, yes, but dont act like the guy doesnt put in the work. He beefed up last offseason and i bet he does again. Im not trying to be controversial but we cant act like the amount he has improved is nothing.
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
I totally agree he has improved a lot. Just saying if I was criticized and dangled for trades, I’d be fired up to prove everyone wrong.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 19:48 pmThe guy that has improved multiple facets of his game over the last few seasons? Kyrou will be fine as long as he keeps improving his game. In DA I trust. In Kyrou I hope for the best.

I think if not this year then the following he has his big season. Im probably a bigger fan than most but i do acknowledge his warts. He probably will never be kniw as a real gritty guy. But the guy has skills. I think he will get more dog mentality when he figures what weight he feels strong at for him to develope more confidence on and away from the puck.Kariyadog wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 20:13 pmI totally agree he has improved a lot. Just be harder on the puck and improve awareness.
Sounds easy, but it’s hard for some guys.
Given his linemates in the playoffs, it was a tough go for him
Re: How Will Kyrou React To The Rumors?
This. He lead the team in goals by a wide margin, lead the team in +/-, he had more hits than Buch, etc…Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 19:48 pmThe guy that has improved multiple facets of his game over the last few seasons? The kid is one of the best players on the Blues and probably a top 50 player forward in the NHL right now.

So speculation on top of speculation.
He'll come out and play another year of hockey, that's how he will "respond".
