Bjug to wing?
Army just said on 101 suter could center hollywood and kyrou or neughbours and bjug. Also just said JC has a slim chance to make the roster out of camp, but if he stays in juniors, he can do that, but if he goes to college, then he cannot. I doubt he makes the team, but sounds like he’s making it hard on him unless it’s just a radio interview. Answer to not hurt anyone’s feelings.

Well someone is gonna have to make the roster as soon as they ship Neighbours off to Buffalo for Byram

Heard that. Fun interview.Younghopp1991 wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 14:28 pm Army just said on 101 suter could center hollywood and kyrou or neughbours and bjug. I think he was trying to make the point that there are lots of options for Monty. Because earlier in the interview he talked about the 3 (schenn, Bjugstad, Suter) as being strong down the middle.
He also mentioned Neighbours and Faulk quite a bit, which makes it seem that they wouldn't be moved any time soon. But that could be Army playing poker.

Re: Bjug to wing?
JC figures to be a long long shot because DD and other prospects who can play wing and shoot the puck are ahead of him. He's not a 4th line banger, there simply isn't room until he is a more polished player. I don't know what he would gain going back to juniors. If he shows more polish than I envision they might want to keep him within callup reach but I suspect he's at least a season away and the Blues can afford that investment.

Yeah i agree on JC. Just nice to hear that his efforts are creating possibilities. Maybe hes not 4 years away lol. Im hoping for dvo over texier on wing with a smart 2way c. Im extremely excited for this season. We are rounding out finally and still have tons of possibilities comingDawgDad wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 14:38 pm JC figures to be a long long shot because DD and other prospects who can play wing and shoot the puck are ahead of him. The fact that JC can even be mentioned as making the club right off the draft shows what a high quality pick he is. The kid is in a man's body, and plays like it. Somebodies dropped the ball on him, we picked it up.DawgDad wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 14:38 pm JC figures to be a long long shot because DD and other prospects who can play wing and shoot the puck are ahead of him. Can you imagine the Sabres fans meltdown if Army somehow gets Byram for prospects and picks.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 14:38 pmJust thinking about that possibility gives me a concussionPierre McGuire wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 14:35 pm Well someone is gonna have to make the roster as soon as they ship Neighbours off to Buffalo for Byram
Re: Bjug to wing?
I have been saying Bjug to wing since they signed Suter. You are nuts to tamper with Holloway Schenn and Kyrou until they fail. But I see Bjug with Suter and Neighbours. I actually think Sunny's reckless style of play fits right in with the fourth line. It would be the what the suck line.
On the Byram thang, I don't think they can trade another NHL top 9 winger for a D after they already did one. Faulk would have to go to someone, even if a third team is involved. And if you could pull off him and someone like Stenberg, Dean, or Lindstein and sign him to a reasonable deal, you do it in a heartbeat.

This is not the defenseman you’re looking for. You want to give him away for peanuts
