Makes some sense if Fowler wants crazy money.
Seemed to me Fowler wasn’t going to do that.
Yeah I agree but you never know, things can change quickly.

I don't understand this one. He's going to command 5-7 million. That's an awful lot for what would essentially be a 3rd pairing dman.

He’ll be replacing Fowler. Or played RHD to replace Faulk

Replacing Faulk is the only thing that makes sense, but even then we'd have to find a taker for Faulk.

Seems like Lou and JR are at odds here:

As for the roster, Doug Armstrong said all it takes is one phone call but it appears the roster is set. Other than one of the younger players pushing his way onto the roster, don't expect any other big moves. #stlblues
Now Lou's was an hour ago so maybe something changed.

On the surface I’d be all for getting Byram. But what would be going back to Buffalo? The ask is going to be extreme (barring an offer sheet, which Buffalo already said they would match).

No clue. Something that has to be taken into account is that with one hit he could be out of the game.

Definitely don't want to give up too much for a guy who 1 month into the season could potentially have to call it a career.

Sincerely hope that wouldn't happen but it can't be discounted when talking trades.

Take what Army says with a grain of salt.. could all be a part of a negotiation with Buffalo as much as actually being true.

Maybe Faulk is part of the deal?

Maybe we also take back Connor Timmins? (any interest?)

Faulk, Joseph/Tex, 1st for Byram and Timmins?

If it’s anything like the ROR deal, we just have to send them Joseph, Texier, Faulk and Stenberg

I'd rather miss out and keep Stenberg.
