Celebrate St. Louis
What happened to July 4 downtown? I remember seeing Elton John, The Beach Boys and Ray Charles under the Arch. Just looked at the schedule for tonight and tomorrow and don't recognize any names at all.

Time marches on and people get old. Then new people replace old people.edwin drood wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 09:50 am What happened to July 4 downtown? Re: Celebrate St. Louis
The music lineup this year is mostly bands from St. Louis. The organizers of Celebrate St. Louis want to feature local bands under the Arch at the 4th of July party. Look for local St. Louis bands to play under the Arch in the future at Celebrate St. Louis.

OP is absolutely right. The 4th Celebration has sucked for years. It used to book huge artists, now nothing worth seeing.

Re: Celebrate St. Louis
No, because they could book new prominent artists, but instead they have local/has-beens. The real answer is that it saves money, and also, people don’t care about going to [shirt]ty downtown anymore.Arvid Smeal wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 17:24 pmI was merely helping an ignorant person with a question he asked.DJ Davis wrote: ↑03 Jul 2025 17:00 pm“Hope that helps.” For someone who tries to come off as sooo coool, internet cliches? For someone who craps on everyone else, you seriously think that Gavin DeGraw, Stir, and Steve Ewing are on the same level today as those mentioned back then?
