Organizations fail prospects as often as prospects fail organizations
Remember the old Army who made us aware that organizations fail prospects as often as propects fail organizations.
The primary gist of that is that prospects should not be rushed. It's takes time to become an NHL player....
All sounded good, didn't it?
Then along came Logan Mailoux. Army is now playing a different harmony. He doesn't even know the player, and he is telling him to get out there, son.
Why the change in song?
Answer: Army selected LM to scrub his resume. LM is needed to wipe away the Petro hole BEFORE Army leaves office.

I have a feeling Army’s gonna have to get a restraining order against ya before it’s all said and done.

The only person that has anything to worry about is the messenger, ASOGG.SameOldBlues wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 18:39 pm I have a feeling Army’s gonna have to get a restraining order against ya before it’s all said and done.

How is he being Rushed???
He was drafted 4 Years ago and is the ripe old age of 22.
Most savvy hockey people will tell you that most prospects take 3-4 to develop before entering the NHL.
So it sounds like you agree with Army on this one.
The kid isn't being guaranteed a job but he is getting first crack at it....If he plays poorly, Monte wont have any problems sitting him in the pressbox....

He's 22. He has already played 2 years in the AHL including 13 playoff games this year. He has played in 8 NHL games and had a junior hockey career before that. I would say he's ready to step into the NHL as our 6th d-man. I fail to see the point here. I fail to see any other connections to past players.

I like when you can tell who the OP is based solely on the stupid (donkey) thread title. So painfully transparent.

The only ones wiping Petro's hole is you (asogg) and bleedr

Why we keep bringing up a player that wanted to leave the Blues is hopeless and beyond most of us.

Petro played well for 3 out of 7 seasons and will spend his last 2 years on LTIR. No thanks. Bullet dodged.

Nah. The guy's like an ugly, puny 12 year-old punk who shoots his mouth off to get attention, but nobody takes him seriously because it's not worth getting into trouble for giving him a smackdown. Plus he is stubbornly stupid.SameOldBlues wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 18:39 pm I have a feeling Army’s gonna have to get a restraining order against ya before it’s all said and done.
