4 star BB star from Webster Groves committs
Gates joins in the fun with a commit from STL metro POY Scottie Adkinson. Solid player who led Statesman to State championship in sophomore year. 2027 grad so will have two years to mature and grow before hitting campus.

Gates and company are going to have to keep after this young man. With 2 years of high school, he's got a lot of time to improve and pick up major offers. If I'm not mistaken, since he's in-state and committing in-state, he can start reaping NIL $bucks now.

You're mistaken if you think Mizzou is alone and any '26er committed to anywhere won't have to be kept after.edwin drood wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 11:23 am Gates and company are going to have to keep after this young man. You're mistaken if you believe Mizzou, Illinois, Iowa and Louisville are not major offers.
And you are mistaken a third time about receiving NIL money before signing an LOI with Mizzou or any Missouri school.

An unsolicited thought here but, respectfully, this seems unnecessarily antagonistic. Again, respectfully.winonsports wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 12:11 pmYou're mistaken if you think Mizzou is alone and any '26er committed to anywhere won't have to be kept after.edwin drood wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 11:23 am Gates and company are going to have to keep after this young man. Your comments are the welcomed. ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsLaCucuracha was born with a massive inferiority complex, and as it turns out, it's quite. justified. He's not happy unless he can point out minor areas lacking clarity. In the future there's no need for being respectful.Sweet Jones wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 12:47 pmAn unsolicited thought here but, respectfully, this seems unnecessarily antagonistic. Most would consider Doodie's comments more ignorant than antagonistic. But you're not far off. When he was exiled to Nebraska, he developed a massive, inferiorty complex, and as it turns out, is quite justified.Sweet Jones wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 12:47 pmAn unsolicited thought here but, respectfully, this seems unnecessarily antagonistic. He's not happy unless he can divide the Mizzou fan base with minor jabs to the programs. In the future there's no need for being respectful to him.
It's stupid to single out "Gates and company" as the only ones who need to worry about keeping after a commit.
It's dumb not to consider offers from SEC, ACC and Big 10 schools as MAJOR
And if all a Missouri high school athlete had to do to start making NIL money is commit to a Missouri school, then every freshman in the state would commit somewhere in state.

Hope we can hang onto him. This kid is a baller. As a sophomore he controls games. I have seen him play several times. Lots of money out there and I’m sure he is going to be offered his share. Glad we have the early upper hand.

thanks sweet Jones for posting what I couldn't for some reason.
Kid really likes to attack the rim and finishes strong. 4 star now could really blow up by his senior year and yes it will be an tough row to hoe to actually have him at MU. Just like every top player in major sports.
Gatorade POY as well. Has a really nice shot and high % from 3.

Webster also has a freshman that has some big offers. Him and Scottie won DUBG a state title as a fresh\soph duo. Would like to see them both at Mizz.

When you weren't being beaten up and pantsed as a kid, I'll bet you said, "I know you are but what am I?" a lot.winonsports wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025 17:32 pmMost would consider Doodie's comments more ignorant than antagonistic.
