I'd leave Schenn with Holloway and Kyrou to see if they can keep the magic going. If not, Suter is there to step in.

Great signing. I picked Suter as the star of the game against the Blues year before last and he scored a hat trick. Blues won so I got no points. Now Pierre, If you just watched Bjugstad at the end of this year you might remember how valuable he can be.

Takes the Faksa spot on the PK. Does make signing Bjugstad seem a little strange.

Can't have enough multi-use centers.
Sunny, Schenn, or Buggsy...one of them could easily be hurt at this stage of the game and 5 deep is a must.
It keeps Buche solidly on the wing and gives the lineup better flow.
And both contracts block "nobody" as far as the young guns a year or two away.

They’ll try all sorts of line combos throughout training camp/preseason to see what sticks. And then probably change them again 100 more times throughout the season. My guess is both Schenn and Suter end up playing a fair amount of 2C and most of the rest of their time at 3C.

As long as they can put together 3 fairly strong scoring lines I’ll be happy. Don’t really care which players end up on which of those 3 lines.
