The second half they had chances to put the game away and couldn’t.

I guess all is well that ends well.

I actually didn’t think the Costa Rica penalty kick was a foul.

The U.S.’s penalty was born of seeming inexperience and panic. He turned and looked, but did not see, his teammate sliding over to cover. The ensuing tackle was an easy penalty for the referee to call.
