They are In contention…… Lol this organization has become nothing but cheap
Developing players from within to compete with the big market spenders is being cheap? Oh, okay. LOL.
Yes
When you don't supplement w/a payroll that allows the new POBO to add pieces that don't exist inside the system (re: power hitters, OF'ers and TOR+TR starters).
Telling someone else how to spend their money, is pretty (drat) funny.
I'll start a Go-Fund Me page next week for poor BDWJr

I have noticed you haven’t chimed in with this stance on any of the recent attendance posts.

Where does “their” money come from? Maybe they don’t need as much if they’re not going to give folks a reason to give them more.

And what made them billionaires? I don’t expect him to spend his Arby’s cash — but the Cardinals have generated him plenty of money to reinvest.

Telling highly successful businessman/ billionaires how to spend the money they made. That sounds logical...
I will toss this back to you. "And what made them billionaire"

Of course it’s not logical. Just like it would be illogical to give him more money to not spend. Fortunately the attendance is trending that way.

Exactly. Attendance/money is earned and they haven’t earned it. I’d be shocked if they didn’t make some kind of splash in free agency this winter. They have to do something to try and convince people they care.

I am suspicious they will do that this upcoming off-season.

My plan says trim then add. We did with Goldie, but not Mik and Matz. They need to go.
This fall, we add a stud TOR or a big bat. If it’s free agency, not much after Tucker. If it’s a TOR it’s most likely a trade. That is ok, as it’s part of the second round of trim/cuts this off season.

They don’t really have a choice. Not investing in the product is going to make the attendance decline worse. Just hope Bloom is better at evaluating players than Mozeliak.
