I think Yadi could have beat him in a race to home.

How did he not score on Pozo's double? I mean the outfielder slipped and fell down. Only thing I can figure is that he had to make sure the ball was over Hayes head before leaving. Still thought he should or could have been sent.

You may have answered your own question. 3rd baseman made a leaping attempt to catch the line shot just over his glove. Any 1st base runner can't go full bore to 2nd til that ball clears the infielder.
