The only redemption is if we trade Krug, Leddy, Joseph, and Texier to Buffalo for Byram and then sign him to a deal shorter than 5 years at a reasonable price. Oh and we also get Kulich or McLeod back in the deal.

When exactly did he score these 20+ goals?

I don't think there is anything to this. The acquisition of Mailloux has put our defense at equilibrium. It's set now and we have prospects in the pipeline. We have youth, strength and depth everywhere. Hopefully, Dvo makes the team out of camp as a winger and then moves up to 2C.

Yeah. I think we might have had conversations about Byram at some point this offseason (when we were rumored to be in on Peterka as well) but I have a hard time believing this is something we’re still pursuing. Mailloux covers the current need for a young RHD. Byram wouldn’t make sense unless we moved Faulk out AND he would be willing to play the right side. Broberg and Fowler are pretty clearly the top 2 LHDs.
