He shared a homemade adult video without his partner's consent, with his mates, iirc.

Not cool. Criminal in Sweden. But hardly unheard of or condemnable 4 or 5 years later. JMHO.
I’m not trading a piece like Kyrou for that tho
I mean the Blues have recently had people who have done much worse things than that. But yeah his value isn’t high
What are you talking about?
People who charged and convicted of crimes. Some very serious

They can still acquire one of course, but not one as good as Kyrou.

I'd love for Army to keep working Francis to get Wright if he is truly available.

Jordan Kyrou is a hard sell.
30 goal scorers with top 1% speed who are under contract for 5 more years are not, nor will they ever be a hard sell.

The hard part is getting proper value for him.
I wonder why the word is that Army wants 3-4 players back?

We have to get more than he is worth to make trading him make sense for us and the would be trade partner has to get him for less than they think he is worth....See the problem there?

The likelihood has really nothing to do with how much value he has or doesn't have. It working for both sides is very difficult especially if you are trying to swap establish "equal" value players.
I get that.
We are trying to trade for two of the most scarce commodities in the league.

II believe that Kyrou will respond to the helping hand of Holloway. I just hate to have to depend on that for the next five years. I never want to hear a network commentator echo what I have been seething over in Blues Stanley Cup Playoff Game Seven , ever again.
"I have never seen such a lack of compete in a Game Seven".
It is not that he said it on national tv .
It was that what he said was true.
I think its likely not true at all, I think he was clearly hurt and more than likely displayed pretty high willingness to compete to be in the game at all AND still find a way to put one in the net.

Then why would he say it? That is a ballsy move for a guy like Olczyk, who I don't always agree with, to announce to a network audience.

Your thinking is wishful.

Show me where it was ever stated he was injured.
Army called it a learning experience and left it at that.
That says a lot.

The learning experience was- "It's the playoffs, Boy. Get up and give it back, or get over it".
He did neither

It was a foolish hope on my part. I was in denial about the scarcity of what Doug was after.

Seattle seems to be the only team that could actually make Doug (and me) happy, but they aren't interested.

Have you taken a look at how "clutch" Eddie O was in the playoffs? His teams except for his rookie season never made it out of the first round. He has never played or suited up for a game 7 in his career. irony. He gets lauded as a cup winner because he was a black ace on the 94 Rangers team playing one whole game in the entire postseason (kyrou played 5 as a black ace in 2019). Such a clutch player that iron Mike had him eating nachos in the press box. Had to do a quick change out of his suit to look like a player lifting the Cup. A failed coach. A talking blowhard.

I mean was it not obvious to you Kyrou was hurt?

Now I don't know the severity or any of that, maybe he should have played through it better or maybe not but he certainly wasn't 100%

It was a sensational comment. I guarantee it would have been a major topic of discussion after the game.
Except.
The Blues blew the game and the series with a historic collapse in the last two minutes …. and it dragged into a double overtime heartbreaker, so… it was forgotten.

I truly think if Kyrou had actually suffered a tough injury, Army’s comment about the hit, after the series was over, would have cut Kyrou some slack. He did not cut Kyrou any slack.
Kyrou played most of the series like the Kyrou that got Berube fired.

Kyrou was hit extremely hard, but that is the playoffs.
There was never a whisper of a real injury, was there?

He played 16 years in the NHL, a dozen more as a kid, and worked as an analyst for at least a dozen years.
How many game sevens has he seen?

He merely said out loud what myself and the sharpest and most down to earth poster on this board were seeing. The other poster did allow that if Kyrou were badly injured, he would cut him some slack. And so would I.There is not a shred of evidence that this was the case.

Your weird obsession is made even more stranger by bootstrapping it to a comment made by Eddie O. Kind of a loser hill to die on... a meh Blackhawk whose never had anything positive to say about the Blues p] whose career fizzled and then failed as a coach. Still pining over Pierre McGuire firing because he missed his insipid tell me more Edzo's in game ball massaging. He sure has seen plenty of game 7s from the press box including as a player -- at least Kyrou has been there and actually scored in one.
And curious, who shared kyrou's medical records with you?

I REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

But I will if I have to.
I hope they keep him just because your 20 tantrums a day about him used to be annoying, now it's just funny watching someone who claims to have all this tough hockey experience behave like a spoiled teen, who's girlfriend just got stolen.
My anger is based on a hot blooded adult desire for playoff performers with guts.
It's your lovesick devotion to a nancy boy that amuses me.

Aren't you sad that no one is offering much of anything for your pinup boy?
Dude, there isn't a player in this teams HISTORY that makes me act like you. The only "pinups" I've ever had were posters in high school in 1991. The only poster I had of a dude was Eddie Van Halen, and yeah I cried when he passed. You are something, that's for sure.
