Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
I REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.
But I will if I have to.

For my burning effigy, do I dress Army in a polo or a sport coat and blue shirt?Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 20:59 pmI REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

I hope they keep him just because your 20 tantrums a day about him used to be annoying, now it's just funny watching someone who claims to have all this tough hockey experience behave like a spoiled teen, who's girlfriend just got stolen.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 20:59 pmI REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

Reminds me of the posters incessantly crying 2 years ago because Army didn’t dump Parayko for whatever he could get.TAFKAP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:32 pmI hope they keep him just because your 20 tantrums a day about him used to be annoying, now it's just funny watching someone who claims to have all this tough hockey experience behave like a spoiled teen, who's girlfriend just got stolen.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 20:59 pmI REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

What are you talking about?theograce wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:33 pmI mean the Blues have recently had people who have done much worse things than that. Not cool. Criminal in Sweden. But hardly unheard of or condemnable 4 or 5 years later. JMHO.

I'm guessing Craig MacTavish. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:38 pmWhat are you talking about?theograce wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:33 pmI mean the Blues have recently had people who have done much worse things than that. Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
I kind of hope we are discussing a deal for Mailloux that does not include Kyrou

Don't engage, it'll be nonsensical bull[shirt]. Click on his username, click "Add Foe", don't quote him. your time spent here will be much better. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:38 pmWhat are you talking about?theograce wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:33 pmI mean the Blues have recently had people who have done much worse things than that. My anger is based on a hot blooded adult desire for playoff performers with guts.TAFKAP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:32 pmI hope they keep him just because your 20 tantrums a day about him used to be annoying, now it's just funny watching someone who claims to have all this tough hockey experience behave like a spoiled teen, who's girlfriend just got stolen.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 20:59 pmI REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

It's your lovesick devotion to a nancy boy that amuses me.
Aren't you sad that no one is offering much of anything for your pinup boy?

Parayko didn't play playoff hockey like a coward.2forDiving wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:35 pmReminds me of the posters incessantly crying 2 years ago because Army didn’t dump Parayko for whatever he could get.TAFKAP wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 21:32 pmI hope they keep him just because your 20 tantrums a day about him used to be annoying, now it's just funny watching someone who claims to have all this tough hockey experience behave like a spoiled teen, who's girlfriend just got stolen.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 20:59 pmI REALLY don't want to pray for Kyrou to return from lost/confused/wussydom by relying on the tutelage of a player younger than he is.

Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
It seems like quite a few people lack some simple common sense of how a trade like this works. There is no lose Kyrou if we don't trade him or no real problem not trading him.
We have to get more than he is worth to make trading him make sense for us and the would be trade partner has to get him for less than they think he is worth....See the problem there?
The likelihood has really nothing to do with how much value he has or doesn't have. It working for both sides is very difficult especially if you are trying to swap establish "equal" value players.
Much easier if you are trading now for future which is why that is almost always what happens in trades.

Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
If Seattle wants a winger their best opportunity ends at 11 am central.
They can still acquire one of course, but not one as good as Kyrou.
I'd love for Army to keep working Francis to get Wright if he is truly available.

We are trying to trade for two of the most scarce commodities in the league.
II believe that Kyrou will respond to the helping hand of Holloway. I just hate to have to depend on that for the next five years. I never want to hear a network commentator echo what I have been seething over in Blues Stanley Cup Playoff Game Seven , ever again.
"I have never seen such a lack of compete in a Game Seven".
It is not that he said it on national tv .
It was that what he said was true.

Jordan Kyrou is a hard sell.

30 goal scorers with top 1% speed who are under contract for 5 more years are not, nor will they ever be a hard sell.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 22:11 pmTheJackBurton wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 22:09 pm If Seattle wants a winger their best opportunity ends at 11 am central.

The hard part is getting proper value for him.
