That's what I'm hoping for. There's not a whole lot that the Habs have that would make sense.hockey jedi wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 18:57 pm What if this is more complicated because it's a three-way deal?

Cole, Dags, and a third is what we will take for him after Game Seven, I fear.
I really hope I am wrong, but I will be glad to see him go.

they have RHDmen prospects Mailloux, Reinbacher. IF you can get one of them, plus Dach.somni wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:13 pmThat's what I'm hoping for. He shared a homemade adult video without his partner's consent, with his mates, iirc.
Not cool. Criminal in Sweden. But hardly unheard of or condemnable 4 or 5 years later. JMHO.

I mean the Blues have recently had people who have done much worse things than that. But yeah his value isn’t highMiamiLaw wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:32 pmI’m not trading a piece like Kyrou for that thoArmy's Mom wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:25 pmHe shared a homemade adult video without his partner's consent, with his mates, iirc.

Acquiring someone with the formidability of multiple time SC champion Ian Cole is desirable, but one might wish for a better package altogether.Harry York 37 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:19 pm Cole, Dags, and a third is what we will take for him after Game Seven, I fear.

Not seeing it from the Habs.
For entertainment purposes, how about: Dach, Xhekaj, Laine, and Reinbacher for Kyrou and Leddy

And more than I think Kyrou will bring.

And I wouldnt want Dach, it’d have to be something else, and whoever thinks this is a tankin move, I beg to differ bigtime. Mailloux Is 22 years old and the perfect age range. Dont care about his little bit of baggage, thats usually the only way aya get a coveted player, unless ya overpay. Good luck findin that elusive RHD otherwise. They either have to overpay an over the hill player, draft it, which is too late with Army’s stated age range of players, or trade for it. I bet Mailloux would be an instant favorite after he showed his grit and dont take no sheeet.
I could easily go with someone else for RHD, just dont see the possibilities at the moment.

Mailloux is just not a good enough prospect to return Jordan Kyrou. That's a weak trade. Montreal has a potential #1 RHD prospect his name is Reinbacher. But just like with the Nemec idea it's got to be with something else significant and Montreal doesn't have the + to Reinbacher from off their roster that really suits the deal.SameOldBlues wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 19:45 pmHey, im the puke and passer here!seattleblue wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 18:53 pmvomit

Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
LIke many of Army trades, a big part of the return is to erase the salary commitment to the lost player. Once Army determined that Kyrou was not a good fit going forward, the 5-year commitment was a huge downside to keeping Kyrou.
So in any trade, subtracting Kyrou and his committed money has a lot of value to Army and the Blues.

Re: New Kyrou to Habs rumor
Keep insisting that a player outproducing his contract is somehow a bad contract for the Blues. Look up the number of players who have averaged over 70 points per year over the past 4 seasons and realize that his contract is not a negative at all. How many players do you think have done that in that time period and are making 8.1M or less per year going forward? I am not a big Kyrou fan, but make your posts make sense.
