The difference between a Gorman and Arenado at 3rd base. Not a bad play at all by Gorman but Arenado makes a better throw on the play 90% of the time.
So instead of runner on 2nd with one out , it is runners on 1st & 2nd with 0 outs. Makes a big difference.
Two runs scored on the hit to the wall .. Would have been 1 run

A slight difference in fielding can loom large in any inning.

C'mon, a good first baseman scoops that most of the time. And Arenado does throw in the dirt sometimes. Contreras has been scooping those.
