Do the Blues still need more Cap Space?
Even with Krug going on LTIR. Still lots of contracts to sign & extend. They Need Faska. Plus they Need to extend Holloway & Broberg. Bolduc & Neighbors Need an extension as well. They have 11 million coming off the books for next year plus the Cap Increasing by unknown. There is still a lot to do.
Re: Do the Blues still need more Cap Space?
We have almost 50 mil in cap space next year.
We’re fine.
We have a little under 10 mil to find a middle 6 center and maybe a RHD this summer.
Again, plenty of room to make it work; we’re fine.
Faksa is a complete luxury given that we already have Sunny as the 4th center and Joseph/Texier on the bench.

Looks like Army has came out and said Krug will not play this year so if true that gives a lot of cap space. We should have plenty of space to go after McDavid.

Neighbours still has 2 seasons on his contract. Then he will be an RFA still.

Holloway and Broberg need extensions before next July. The cap goes up 8.5 next year followed by 9.5 the next. Bolduc is an RFA in 2026-27, Jake is an RFA in 2027-28. We have time.shootsnscores wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 17:42 pm Even with Krug going on LTIR. Still lots of contracts to sign & extend. They Need Faska. Plus they Need to extend Holloway & Broberg.
