great article on Rock m Nation, sorry I couldn't copy it to here, about the new HC, staff and the Transfer Portal additions and state of the program. after so many years of not even trying to compete with a not SEC worthy HC BOC and AD finally decided about going out and finding someone who really has excellence in her background and cares about MU WBB.
I am excited about the possibilities of at least being very competitive, knowing it will take time to really get things going.
Hope for WBB program, finally

That is strange. Women's basketball is big in the Big10, with no really dominant team at the moment (UCLA may be close but lost some real talent). I would have thought the Badgers would go for a big name.TheMajicMan wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 15:57 pm ....and look at Robin Pingeton now. (This is a weird world)

Re: Hope for WBB program, finally
thought she would be going to a D2 program with her utter failures in last few years to even be competitive. My daughter lives in WI and man those fans are going to be uber disappointed when Robin does her usual mediocre recruiting and results happen. Program is in complete shambles and non competitive in last couple of years. It was only the years where Sophie and her sister were on team that they made any noise at all and even those fun squads didn't do much in NCAA's. She did have the occasional recruiting success but couldn't fill up roster with better talent to be more competitive.
Oh well, good luck to her.

That's one of your many misses on this forumthought she would be going to a D2 program

I predict that fans in Madison (if they even care about WBB) will be clamoring to replace Robin after about two seasons. She's a big dud!

I predict a big dud like skeeztroll will not admit he was wrong in October 2027.
But at least he wasn't the first big dud to show his true colors in this thread.
Heck, even the OP couldn't get past the subject line without attacking the program.
