Romanov 8x6.25
25 years old. Played top line with Dobson. Good comp for Broberg. Would be great if he signed for that, maybe a hair more.
Re: Romanov 8x6.25
Seems like so much for an average player.

Ekblad signed at 8 yrs and $6.1m. Lots of good comparisons for Broberg. One at 25 years old, one at 29. Both are good players. No way Broberg should get more than $6-7m at most.
Re: Romanov 8x6.25
It's a different situation though for sure. Ekblad is not going to be any benchmark as everyone knows he took a massive discount. Unless it is only a year or two maybe 3, I'd actually be surprised if Broberg takes less than $8.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 16:34 pm Ekblad signed at 8 yrs and $6.1m. Broberg probably has to take his offense up a notch to get that much IMO, but he very well could do that next year if he stays healthy.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 16:40 pmIt's a different situation though for sure. Romanov is a solid Dman and a pretty good comp. Not as good offensively, but a really good shot blocker, plays physical and defends well. And only 25 yrs old.bluetunehead wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 16:55 pmBroberg probably has to take his offense up a notch to get that much IMO, but he very well could do that next year if he stays healthy.MiamiLaw wrote: ↑30 Jun 2025 16:40 pmIt's a different situation though for sure.
