Retired two years ago; grew up in metro area (Ill side); just moved back from CA. to take care of my dad who is 97. He's still a grumpy Cards fan. Check in daily; seldom post do enjoy reading most of the posts...

59 and very not retired.

I check in multiple times per day, typically to get the StL view on things from here in Reds territory.

Mostly retired, depends on how much money someone wants to throw at me. I leave a tab open and check in mostly daily. I'd be more active if it weren't for idiots that post looking for attention.

I guess that is just due to the nature of how the younger crowd consumes it's media
Selection bias... most people who aren't retirees probably won't click on a thread that appears to be directed at retirees.

I'm an exception, just due to boredom

I'm 68 in August. Work 32hr weeks. Stop by most days. I have other interests so I appreciate guys that spend their time chasing facts and share them with the forum. I always look for why my opinions might be wrong. I get shown on a pretty regular basis, but that's ok.

Age 69, retired 5 and widowed 2 years ago. I check CT repeatedly throughout the day, just like I have for more than 20 years. I rarely post despite my constant monitoring and except when I’m at spring training (and feel obliged to report on what I’m seeing) — I prefer to avoid the conflict and nastiness. I have several substantive and favored posters — Craviduce atop that pile. What he does takes so much work, but he and his ilk on here makes this place worth the cost of the PD subscription.

66 years old. Retired 41 year railroader. Check most days during S/T and the season. Appreciate the GDT (thanks Duce!) when I keep up with it, although I don't post much.

Then I'm in and out of the house all day, like today mowing and trying to keep caught up on gardening and yard work. Strange year so far with all the rain we have gotten.
I am with you, Red. I turned 80 last March and still do my own yard work and gardening. I check CT several times a day.

Good on you both for taking care of yourselves, and an early Happy Birthday Red.
