I smell rain.

Post by sikeston bulldog2 »

Good morning.

60 percent chance of storms beginning around three pm. Could be heavy. Chances we play are too low for zero.

Do we do a double header tomorrow with Skenes. Worst thing that could happen is we get rained out. Momentum killer.

Unsure on momentum killer ... Cards being in a long stretch may cherish having a day off to give their body a rest. Players mindset is more day to day in baseball. Good ones don't get too up nor too down winning or losing. As you often hear some say, 162 games is a long season. The team is barely only halfway done. Long way to go .

Good response. I’ll go opposite. I say they wanna play in 80 degree weather verse 96. Also while winning, the pain and tiredness don’t feel as bad, although they may be evident.

Your point on rest is valid. I don’t want another double header with Skenes involved. Just not optimal strategy. Losing streaks are very fragile.

Hope that the Buccos bats calm down a bit. They just put up 9-9 -12 against the Mets worn out pitching staff

Both teams are off on the third. Any chance they play then vs double header? Cards have short trip to Chicago. Pirates though go to Seattle.

Just radars and forecast. Then check the SPC models. What I did in mikitary first ten years- weather.

As for rain out- a DH with Skenes attached is a recipe for a sweep.

Another doubleheader would be our 7th of the season marking the most by the franchise in a normal season since at least 1990.

Cardinals sweep, right?

They've beaten Skenes multiple times (but he is due).

Weather briefings and intel briefings (target information) precede individual flight briefings, given by the flight leader. All are important.
