So now kyrou is linked to seattle. Those two names were brought up as a trade option. Would that be worth kyrou....

Yes and Yes Yes!
Seattle is a great fit. They need a goal scorer and both those guys are 21 and 22 respectively.
Fits Army’s desired age bracket to trade for…

It definitely is an interesting one if it has any truth
Re: Shane wright-- matty benier
Tough call as it depends on what we do with the cap money. It would give us $7M in cap space, but we would have a significant drop off in offense. If we are throwing away 2025, then in makes sense. If we think we can challenge in 2025, then again, it depends on who we get for the extra money.

Re: Shane wright-- matty benier
wow talk about interesting as you can move Wright to the wing or center. Yea...if that trade happens somebody really wants Kyrou out.

I’d welcome either. A future center group of Thomas, Wright/Beniers, and Dvorsky would be excellent. I’m not sure how a trade surrounding one of those guys looks, but they both have shown a lot of promise.
Beniers shot out of the gate and then fell back to earth, but he has continued to be decent. He also is supposedly pretty sound defensively as well though I haven’t watched a ton of Seattle games. Wright took a slower route but has started well in the NHL. They’re probably both 2C types in the long run, at least that’s the sense I get.

A few points.
I think broberg, holloway and neighbors all have better years. Plus wright or benier are both ready to take streps forward.
Now the true question is will bolduc and snuggy fresh take leaps this year.
A few free agents or now we habe money to resign faksa

During a recent episode of 32 Thoughts: The Podcast, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman mentioned a potential suitor for Kyrou - the Seattle Kraken. "You heard Doug Armstrong say that if there's a center available, that he would consider (trading Kyrou.) I'll say this. One of the teams I wonder about for Kyrou is Seattle.3

It would be a wash, cap-wise. Beniers is making 7.1.rezero wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 21:54 pmTough call as it depends on what we do with the cap money. Thanks, I was wondering where this came from. That’s the problem with Friedman……everything is merely speculation on his part. He used to be legit, but now everything is I wonder if”, or “I’m guessing”. My low opinion of Friedman notwithstanding, this would make way more sense than the Montreal stuff.Nublues69 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 22:12 pm https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl-ru ... 42078.html

Shane Wright is a nice player.
Re: Shane wright-- matty benier
Seems like a terrible idea for Seattle but I'll take it.

You’re not getting both in a trade - just one.SpacemanSpiff wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 22:13 pmIt would be a wash, cap-wise. Lukas Dragicevic
Wonder if we can get him thrown in too.

The Seattle Kraken have been active in the trade market recently, acquiring veteran center Frederick Gaudreau from the Minnesota Wild for a fourth-round pick. Additionally, they traded Andre Burakovsky to the Chicago Blackhawks for Joe Veleno. K'Andre Miller from the New York Rangers is also rumored to be a potential trade target for the Kraken, who are looking to improve their roster after missing the playoffs.
Saw this as well. Seattle is going all in. We will know by tomorrow at 11pm cst. When his no trade kicks in
