So pretty sure mtl is one of several teams that has called about kyrou. Lebrun did mention we were talking to mtl alot he personally never mentioned the package though.

This is the account I seen first start the dach and Matheson rumors there is another anon scooper account running with this as well. The 2nd guy was literally just called out by incarcerated Bob ( who has legit sources ) for not knowing what he was talking about.. fwiw

I'd say the talking to mtl is real but the package is not.

I would've liked the idea of bringing in Dach years ago, but now we're talking about an oft-injured center with very poor faceoff numbers who was a -29 in his 57GP last season. Big body, but apparently brittle. There would really have to be some big pieces also coming back and he would be the young guy thrown in as a cap dump.

Someone mentioned Guhle and Reinbacher. I don't know why they would trade Guhle, but that is more apples to apples. I'd consider maybe the following:

Dach, Guhle/Matheson, Reinbacher/Mailloux
Laine, Mailloux, Reinbacher, picks

Idk I'd like to get some of their D but not sure how it would all work out.

Yea if Dach were to be part of a Kyrou trade, he’d be the “+” not the main piece

I'm backtracking on him myself after doing some research. I was basing my opinion of him from what others were saying.

He should have been a stud..or at the very least a productive NHL player. He was a great junior player. The injuries derailed his career. There is still plenty of time for him to resurrect his career and be a good NHL player, but his role has changed. He’s definitely worth taking a chance on.

Chicago sent him to play at the world juniors and he broke his wrist. Since then it's been injury city: population Dach.

Lane Hutson would be the only player in return. No thank you on Dach (often injured) or Matheson (30 too old). Worst case trade him for two number 1 picks if you can get those or a 1 and 2 rounder next year and use the cap space on signing Ekblad and Granlund.

Most insider accounts are completely full of it. They see a reputable hockey journo name a couple teams who are talking and then they fill in the gaps with nonsense like this. As if the Blues would be trying to acquire a 31 year old left handed defenseman to add to Broberg, Fowler, Leddy, and Tucker or that Dach would be a centerpiece of any deal.
