Jordan Kyrou
Forget all the variables, all the possibilities.
Curious of any one who wants to participate...If you HAD to say one way or another......a yes or no.....does Kyrou get traded before midnight Monday?
I'm down with NO.

I’m saying no. The trade market does not seem to be friendly right now.
He should’ve been offered for Matt Tkachuk. Now, I don’t see anything known to be out there that makes much sense.

Re: Jordan Kyrou
I’ll say no. The Blues are in a position of strength in that they don’t NEED to trade him. He’s a legit 1st line caliber winger, good for 30+ goals every year, one of the top 5 fastest skaters in the game, insane chemistry with Holloway. If DA can’t trade him for a young 2C or top pairing or #3 d-man (who’s a RHD), he won’t trade him and the Blues keep their all-star on a great contract through his prime. I don’t see anyone out there who’s available and fits the bill in a trade, though. So, no, he won’t be traded

Re: Jordan Kyrou
The signs and rumoured returns point to no. I’m going to say yes. I think the 5 years NTC and the now current prospect depth at wing is forcing the team to make a move.

But they may have to settle with getting some sort of prospect, 1st round combo.

Re: Jordan Kyrou
I’m saying no……I’m fine if they do if it’s a good trade, though. But I think the timing is wrong. I can see other teams approaching the Blues after they get shut out in free agency, but obviously Kyrou’s NTC will have kicked in by then.
I’ll tell you one thing I’m not worried about……and that is Army trading him for a scrub like Kirby Dach. That’s just not going to happen and people need to stop listening to some of these clowns like Elliotte Friedman.

I don't necessarily disagree, but he's a legit 1st line caliber winger who does not play on our 1st line and has routinely been taken off of Thomas' wing due to lack of chemistry. I'm not sure he has insane chemistry with Holloway as much as Holloway drives play and makes his linemates better.tfriede2 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 08:54 am I’ll say no. I don’t really focus on which line the players are on - I don’t think anyone in the world would call Neighbours a 1st line winger. It doesn’t really matter to me which line Kyrou plays on - regardless, he’s a 1st line wing “caliber” player.zamadoo wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 09:10 amI don't necessarily disagree, but he's a legit 1st line caliber winger who does not play on our 1st line and has routinely been taken off of Thomas' wing due to lack of chemistry. We can't undo history, but Kyrou instead of Tage in that deal probably gets us RoR and something MoR.

My gut tells me this is like Tarasenko for Armstrong

Re: Jordan Kyrou
Seems to me like the asking price for Kyrou is a 2C maybe 2C + Doesn't seem like Doug is getting the offers he wants Leaning 60 to 70 percent likely Kyrou stays.
