At today’s game

Post by The Nard »

Got tickets for the extended family for this late afternoon’s game. Used to live near here during the Indians’ best era in the 90s, with Thome, Belle, Manny, Baerga,
Lofton, and Eddie Murray formed a powerhouse team.

Cardinals may be in a position to sweep this series, as this year’s version of the Guardians broke up last seasons stellar defense when Andres Gimenez was traded, and they failed to replace Josh Naylor’s power bat. Not Surprisingly, they’re having trouble scoring runs, and their usual stellar pitching has proven shaky, due to injuries and arms just coming back.

The ballpark has always been a wonderful place to see a game from. Tell you more later, after the game. Rain this morning, should be gone before game time.

I should add that I’m excited to see the cardinals in person again after several years, and also since I get very few games now to watch on tv. I’ll be wearing my cardinals polo shirt and cap, while my daughter’s family will all have their Cleveland gear. These resin 2of my favorite teams, regardless how they do

Don’t know our section as my daughter bought the tickets, but she said we’re in the boxes near 1b side. Good seats, in all.

The updated stadium looks nice. And great to see 35k there watching a .500 team. Also, noticed a younger crowd. I think the Cards are going to need to make some adjustments to get the place full again.

Bring home a winner but have a great time regardless.

These family moments at the ball park are special and build life long memories. You'll at least seed your grand kids to have an NL team to root for.

Cardinals justT played and pitched a better game. Mikolas had his “Lynning” in the 4th, however. Cards chipped away, and shut them down rest of the way.

Nootbar concerned me, looked lost and unbalanced. At the plate.

Hope Oli goes for the sweep tomorrow, doesn’t play his normal getaway-game lineup.
