KSHE

Post by Uncle John »

KSHE 95, a classic rock station in St. Louis, is poised to be officially recognized as Missouri's official rock radio station. A state bill honoring the station for its 50+ years of broadcasting rock music is being signed by the Governor. The station, which broadcasts on 94.7 FM, has been a prominent part of the St. Louis music scene since 1967.

It was a tremendous, innovative FM radio station in the late sixties thru the mid seventies. After that, they mostly got too predictable, comfortable, and formulaic. By 1980, KADI was playing better music.

I will play "Nine Feet Underground" by Caravan and "The Fool" by Quicksilver for old times sake...........
