Frondell, Misa or Martone would fit in nicely with the rest of the youth movement in Chicago - I think they'll be playing significant minutes in the 26-27 season wherever they go.

If Reschny slips to us and we pass on him...I'll be buying yet another television set.
I replaced last years TV when my shoe flew into it when the Blues passed on d-man Stian Solberg.

Here's the problem with this:
What happens if Bear, Reschny, Cootes, Hensler and Brzustewicz are ALL on the board when our pick comes around?
Or worse; what if Roger McQueen falls that far?
I'll admit it's not a particularly likely scenario IMO; but it's possible.

I like Reschny also, but you can't fixate on him. There's a lot of really good prospects that could be on the board when our pick comes around.

Our scouting staff deserves the benefit of the doubt. No need to be tossing shoe's around(or replacing tv's for no reason).

I had confidence in the scouting staff until they waisted a pick on Jiricek...

I want Hensler, but I really doubt he falls to 19.

I would be left wondering who other teams took and why, and then I would hope for a trade back several spots for 2nd/3rd rounders (unless Army and co. are SURE about their guy).

If Bear's achilles is good to go, I can't see him falling that far or the Blues passing on him. Would be tough to watch them take yet another injured player with their 1st though.

Heck, maybe they should trade for another 1st in that range to acquire a couple of those guys!

He partially tore his Achilles and is already back skating. Not remotely the same level of injury risk as someone who had a total ACL tear. I’d be very happy to have Carter Bear in a Blues jersey tomorrow night.

I wouldn't be opposed to another pick in that range. 15-25 is absolutely not a bad place to be Drafting this year. There's a lot of good prospects that will probably be there for one reason or another, and the Blues seem to have a real ability to strike gold in that range.
I just don't see us as being willing to give up what it would take to get it.

I like the idea of Fiddler too. Big RHD.

Without a doubt…one of the most underrated players in this draft. Lots of people sleeping on this guy

Posted this a couple months ago regarding Achilles injuries. Seems like players are able to come back fairly well from them.

Let Bear fall.

I feel a lot of those RHD's are going to be claimed. I hope not; but righty D are in high demand.
