That said last night should not impact decision on sending up or down I would say.

Why do they need a 6th starter? We cant ever have our starters go on 4 days rest anymore? I meani guess its hot- but they could just not push the guys on pitch counts. Our coming 2 series are @ cleveland and @ pittsburgh which are further north and generally less hot than st. Louis but any given day thwy could have heatwave too.

I saw somewhere other day Walter Johnson threw a 18 inning complete game. They didn't know the pitch count
What about Gibson. All the complete games and strikeouts
