Wouldn't it be better to splice DNA from the higher ceilings of Betts, Judge and Ohtani? Budgtani!
Sure, there's the challenge of obtaining the DNA, but IF they can bring back the Mammoth, surely there's a way.
Maybe it'd pique Dewitt's interest better if we called it Lowell Budgetani.

I wondered if adding Steve Austin's bionic eye to the mix would create an even better player. Then I realized with Burleson's eye it would be redundant.
Mix in some Chuck Norris DNA and it's unstoppable. If you can't get Chuck's, get Marp's and spice it up with a hit of salsa. Gotta have more clubhouse leadership and cowbell.

Then replicate it. How many of these things can you produce off the line.

I see two leagues. One we currently have- MLB. Then, the Bionics league, like a seniors league, that you graduate into once you recieve specific hardware.

Sorry mister Judge, you now qualify for MLBX league. The advanced league.

Just don't screw up and add Stone Cold Steve Austin's knees, they are shot

Good idea but the other player DNA you mention would be inferior. Why would you think otherwise?

Ease up Pup. The creation you describe could destroy entire nations. Just trying to win a World Series here.

All excellent points. This is the advanced baseball and discussion required to drive this forum into the future.

Maybe Elon can repurpose his robot prototypes to establish this league you describe?

Interesting. Let’s forget ur prototype and go real time. What about the first MLB player with a bionic set of eyes. Does he have an unfair advantage.

What about a new arm? No more injury. Pitch for 25 years? Does that create an unfair advantage.

New leg. Runs faster. Advantage?

How far does medical science go in sports until that player crosses the line between human and next.
As another poster astutely noted, bionic parts such as eyes and calves would be inferior to the real deal.

Your ideas are interesting for lesser player enhancement…guys like Ohtani could benefit from these advancements to keep up with the likes of Burly, Roby and Sagesse. Good points.

Curious to hear the HTM’s thoughts of some of these great ideas. For validation purposes.
