Re: incarceratedbob
I like Kyrou, he's a dynamic scorer, but he hasn't shown that he can takeover important games. Need players that can score and are difficult to play against.
Gotta see what the market looks like to assess a trade.

Re: incarceratedbob
Thomas certainly has.
Re: incarceratedbob
Perhaps not as often as we would like offensively, but he is far more competent defensively.

Re: incarceratedbob
The only thing I'd move Kyrou for would be a mid-20s Top 4 RHD. Teams generally are not chomping at the bit to move those players, so I just don't see it happening.
Re: incarceratedbob
Noah Dobson is a prime candidate. I'd also consider Kyrou for Power even though he's LH.bluetunehead wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 12:15 pm The only thing I'd move Kyrou for would be a mid-20s Top 4 RHD. Teams generally are not chomping at the bit to move those players, so I just don't see it happening.
But you're right, teams generally aren't chomping at the bit to move those players.

I'd trade him for Brady, but not much else.bluetunehead wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 12:15 pm The only thing I'd move Kyrou for would be a mid-20s Top 4 RHD. Teams generally are not chomping at the bit to move those players, so I just don't see it happening.

Re: incarceratedbob
Yeah, I'd definitely make that move if it was Power. So I shouldn't say exclusively RHD. That's just our biggest area of need. But still, I'm not seeing that happening.zamadoo wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 12:19 pmNoah Dobson is a prime candidate. Re: incarceratedbob
Just for fun, Connor McDavid, career game 7’s. 4 played, 1 goal and 1 assist (game vs LA in 2022).

Re: incarceratedbob
The reasons the Blues might consider moving Kyrou are because they have a surplus of wingers in the system. Do they want to have $8M per allocated to a position they are strong at, or do they want to move that contract and get assets at a position of need like center/rhd?mph6689new wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 14:02 pm Just for fun, Connor McDavid, career game 7’s. 5 played, 1 goal and 1 assist (game vs LA in 2022).

Re: incarceratedbob
Completely agree. In no rush to move him, but I also don’t see him as the main piece that wins or loses you a Cup. If the Blues can solve a problem that improves the team, make that trade.noted wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 14:06 pmThe reasons the Blues might consider moving Kyrou are because they have a surplus of wingers in the system. Re: incarceratedbob
Sounds like some of you are root hog or die bent on getting rid of what few right hand shots we have on the O. Last time we had a good number of them we hoisted the cup.
Re: incarceratedbob
Well that team also had 2 stud right handed dmen in Petro and Parayko. The current Blues team does not have that.MrPostman01 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025 14:13 pm Sounds like some of you are root hog or die bent on getting rid of what few right hand shots we have on the O.
