Marrero is looking MUCH Better than last year in AA....more control...that's vague.... MUCH MORE CONTROL. Is slider is deadly...if he can be consistent over an entire year, for several more seasons....he could be a big cog in the BP Wheel in St. Louis...he needs some more work....and I don't think his first venture into the International League will be kind to him....live and learn

I'm so glad Rincon got out of the Purgatory of Peoria...that place can suck the soul out of you as a pitcher. Mautz was crushed last season, Hansen barely hung on....Rincon wasn't as bad as the current Peoria staff earlier this season, but he wasn't great either....he's enjoying better things with Springfield the last 2-3 weeks.

Do you suppose it was mostly the catching?

big factor. I'm not a Campos fan. He hasn't shown the ability to captain that staff, including BP. Also, I think we overrated Salas, Saladin, and Davila. Though I'm higher on Davila than the other two.
