Where is our Tage Thompson?
The Blues gave up prospect Tage Thompson to get ROR for their Stanley Cup run.
The Blues then lost Pietrangelo, ROR, Tarasenko, Barbashev, and Schwarz to other teams for their playoff runs.
Where is our young "Tage Thompson" in return for all of those players that we gave up?
Can somebody ask Army?

Gonna smoke a salmon today. With a butter and spice rub...
Re: Where is our Tage Thompson?
Tage Thompson is a bust. A failure. He hasn’t led a team to a Stanley cup, nor is he destined to. Remember who said that?

Re: Where is our Tage Thompson?
Here in STL, we are pondering what could have been if we could have kept Thompson, or what would life be like with him now.
Meanwhile....
There is not a single fan in another city that even remembers Zach Dean's name, or any of the other players that we got in exchange for letting our stars go.
Hmmm.. Who is to blame for that? What is Army short for?

I mean, you could always move to one of these cities. Win for you and win for us, squirt.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:19 amHere in STL, we are pondering what could have been if we could have kept Thompson, or what would life be like with him now.

Ok, I’ll ponder. Gee, we’re still looking for our first Cup. I’m beginning to wonder if it will ever happen?a smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:19 amHere in STL, we are pondering what could have been if we could have kept Thompson, or what would life be like with him now.

You mean it’s Army’s fault for not getting elite prospects for 30 something fading stars on expiring deals?
Who did we draft with the no1’s we got in those deals? How did their careers turn out? Oh we don’t know yet?? Hmmmm

Nah. I"m holding out hope that BluesTalk rummies like yourself will grow a brain. If I can wait for Perunovich to be an NHL player, I have enough patience to wait for anything.BudOnTap wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:22 amI mean, you could always move to one of these cities. Ok. Just one question... What young player that we got in return for our stars do you want me to wait for? If you can name that person, I will set my alarm for 5 years.BudOnTap wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:29 amPerfect. Face it. We GOT NOTHING when our stars went to other teams to chase their Cup. Nothing. Army got us NO Tage Thompson.

BudOnTap got nothing in return in his trades with ASOGG except his own tail between his own legs.BudOnTap wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:38 amCry more.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑22 Jun 2025 10:36 amOk. Re: Where is our Tage Thompson?
Just came back from Goodwill. Nobody wants the old Tarasenko and ROR jerseys. I then went to Dicks, and they are selling nameless jerseys only. I asked the front desk, and they said that they considered "Kyrou", but he disappeared in the playoffs.
Blame the nameless jerseys on Army.
