do you think he can hit 40 more and pass Johnny Bench on that "list of seven"?
N/A should be able to reach 400 for his career.
Will probably need 2.5 seasons after the conclusion of this one.
He is currently sitting on 350, meaning he needs 50.
Hopefully 47 or 48 of those will come for another team.

Sounds about right on timeline but your projections do have him averaging about 15-20hrs per year and he still has an above average glove. Not elite but could do worse.
Insert Gorman and maybe you get around 25hr’s w/worse defense and likely less overall run production from all the K’s, which seems like a wash.

We aren't shipping millions to another team. He's staying.

No doubt about it. I’d change my stance if I thought they’d go out and get an elite replacement. Internal options don’t seem any better.

“List of seven” not aware of that
“ Entering Thursday, only six MLB players had hit at least 350 home runs while also earning at least 10 Gold Gloves -- Johnny Bench, Mike Schmidt, Willie Mays, Ken Griffey Jr., Andruw Jones and Al Kaline. Of those six, five are in the Hall of Fame.”

Agreed. No reason to trade him you won’t get squat back.

Meanwhile, he's clutch for us. Keep him. Gorman keeps failing.
