Bernal: .412/.446/.784/1.231 OPS 4 2B 5 HR 16 RBI 13 R 4 BB-8 K in 13 games
Baez: .261/.379/.717/1.097 OPS 3 2B 6 HR 18 RBI 10 R 10 BB-17 K in 14 games
the trio really carried Springfield to the first half title. They lost 2 games in the entire month of June, handled the best team at the time in the Texas League on the road...5-1 that week.
I look at Peoria and it makes me a bit sad that some of those guys will be anchoring the Springfield offense in the playoffs in September . Maybe the above will be propelling Memphis to the 2nd half title in the IL?
Side note ~ I guess you can make much better OP's than the board Spammer/Troll. Not sure why he threw down that gauntlet

Should JJW be in AAA at his age and draft order? Jac and others are already in MLB.
I would guess that JJW gets promoted after this week or maybe the week after. I would think he’s in Memphis by July 1st. I wonder if they’ll let Bernal spend the whole year in AA or if he gets promoted soon, too. And the way that Baez is hitting he could very well finish the year in Memphis, too.

Other first rounders mever make mlb too. I wouldnt try rushing a prospect because of draft irder.
That said, if he does continue to march his ops closer towards .950-1.000, then i really dont see a reason to not pro.kte him later in the season to AAA.

JJ was derailed a month or so ago by an illness that kept him out nearly 2 weeks. And it took him nearly a week and half after that to get back to full strength. Congrats to Jac he stayed healthy.

I sure hope we can draft someone with Ripken's health this year. We've had way too many oft injured prospects this decade.
