Haven't followed Palm Beach much. Davis' ERA is nice. Is he a legit prospect, just a guy having a nice run, or don't know yet?

he did K 12 last week...but he's a small one by the industry standards.

So, I'm a legit, locked in, 100% "I Dunno" .

I'm not inserting him into my top 10 anytime soon.

But he's looking awfully good. I'd wait, honestly, until he's thrown 30-40 innings in Peoria.

Braden Davis has added a couple of MPH to his hard stuff (which still isn’t lights out), but his breaking ball — best pitch coming out of OU — looks to my naked eye like it’s running a few more inches, and harder. (Also, it could be the camera angles I saw in college ball all the time…not that good.) He seems on the edge of legit, but like Crav said, let’s see how he handles Peoria if and when…but he could be a legit early product of the new pitching coaching we’ve heard about.
