Pathetic Home Schedule For MBB Non-Con
If you didn’t have to buy them as part of the season ticket package, they’d average under 500 tickets sold.

Red has never purchased a Mizzou ticket in his life.

Home Schedule For MBB Non-Con
It doesn't make sense that a season ticket holder would ask the price of single-game tickets.
Show us a screen shot of those tickets, otherwise being a pathetic troll on this forum will have to do.

on may 31st he started a thread and them questioned waiting list for season tickets in another thread.
Re: Pathetic Home Schedule For MBB Non-Con
I don't care if he has tickets or not... it's another (bleep) home schedule for Mizzou, highlighted by MN and the SEC. Overall, games against Illinois and ku are the only interesting ooc games. I don't understand why Dennis doesn't find a tournament in Maui, the Bahamas, anyplace warmer than Como in Nov ,December, or early Jan to play some competitive programs. If you lose, so what. It's a whole lot better than lining up and paying blood donors to come to a qtr filled Mizzou Arena.
And yes, before whine -o responds, if I show up it would be a qtr plus 1. I'm not driving 300+ miles midweek to watch us play Ms Valley and Ark Pine-Bluff. Grow a pair, and let's compete against better programs.

Just to be fair to Gates.....The football team has played the McKnuclehead States for the last 35-40 years in the non conference. I left Mizzou back in the early 80's when under Onofrio and Warren Powers they played powerhouses like Notre Dame, USC, Bama and the Ohio States. (And they would beat them)

That's probably why those teams stopped scheduling Mizzou.TheMajicMan wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 10:53 am Just to be fair to Gates.....The football team has played the McKnuclehead States for the last 35-40 years in the non conference. I can tell you unequivocally that if those teams would ever contact Mizzou for a home and home, then Mizzou would move or would have moved other games to accommodate them.
Re: Pathetic Home Schedule For MBB Non-Con
Accurate- and you needed those games when you had a six and 8 team conference. Football is a little different in scheduling. A loss in this new playoff era can cripple a football team. Losing to a Duke, Purdue, or Mich State in a winter basketball game doesn't damage the chances of an NCAA tournament bid, and in most cases it actually strengthens it vs scheduling the school for the blind.TheMajicMan wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 10:53 am Just to be fair to Gates.....The football team has played the McKnuclehead States for the last 35-40 years in the non conference. I too was there for PN State and Tx. Great crowds, exciting games even when the end result wasn't what we wanted. I'd be happy to have those games again even if it did cost of at the end of the year.

It doesn't appear that Penn St is looking for that type of game anytime in the near future.I too was there for PN State and Tx. Great crowds, exciting games even when the end result wasn't what we wanted. I'd be happy to have those games again even if it did cost of at the end of the year.
They did play at 6-7 West Virginia last year and have road games at Temple (kind of) and Syracuse in the next four years. Home games include Villanova, Delaware, UMass and Florida Intl along with three MAC schools.

These BB FB comparisons are about as stupid as you can get.
There is none.
Whether its scheduling, formation of how the team is constructed, finances or anything else.
Think (if possible) before posting.

Actually, I did. I’m buying extra tickets for my brother and his wife for the KU game. THAT’S why a STH is asking about the price of single game tickets.Luke77 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2025 22:14 pmAttention Moderators - Winonsports is changing quotes again.
