Ah yes, the Jordan Walker staring at a fastball right down the middle for strike 3 trick. Awful.

Holy [shirt] walker is terrible
Re: GDT : Cards @ White Sox (6/19) ~ Game 1 ~ 1:10pm CDT
walker making a habit of freezing on 2-strike fastballs down the middle. he must be looking breaking ball all the time

Godddamn Walker. Be aggressive. (bleep).
Re: GDT : Cards @ White Sox (6/19) ~ Game 1 ~ 1:10pm CDT
good eye by Walker on several of those pitches, and then...
stands there like a fire hydrant on a pitch right. down. central.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG

Batting Gorman, Noot, Walker and Scott in succession is a real leap of faith. Walker watching strike three right down the middle. SMH

Noot really doesn't do anything particularly well.

Walker clearly struggles with breaking pitches.
Especially down and away.
So I would guess he’d want to hit the fastball??
He gets it down the middle and stares at it???

I mean Gorman has a .980 OPS last 30 days and Walker has an .844 OPS since May 14th. They’ve been doing just fine, but they made an out today.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 13:42 pm Batting Gorman, Noot, Walker and Scott in succession is a real leap of faith.
