It's almost as if they could use Broberg and Holloway instead of Walman and Kostin. :D

If EDM loses this series (be it tonight or game 7) wonder what sort of massive changes are coming. Have to think they’ll be some big offseason moves happening.

That was Eckholm's fault. He had a perfect lane to pass to Bouchard but waited too long and let Florida get a stick in the way. So he lifted a pass a foot off the ground and threw it at Bouchard's left skate opposite his stick blade, forcing Bouchard into a nearly impossible situation.

They are discussing it on TNT right now. All on Eckholm. He is the one that allowed Florida to backcheck and get pressure and then further created the disaster with an absurd pass to Bouchard.

Oh definitely agree that Eckholm shares the blame. Bouchard had a terrible period though and this play was a big part of it.

Oh definitely. Bouchard is a negative defensively. There is no other way to see it when watching him. And while that 1st goal really wasn't his fault, he did not handle it well and did not pick up for his teammate's mistake.

The Oilers are also dealing with the defensive fraud Jake Walman. He scores a nice goal every once in a while, but he's a donkey on skates defensively. And there is clearly a reason that he's been with 4 organizations in 3 seasons.

Great points and you summed up my thoughts exactly. I'm just thankful I didn't have to write that up while having some whisky watching the SCF. :D

Florida has them. Unless something happens, FLA is covering all 3 zones effectively.

Mistakes are killer, and so is the response. Oilers are showing that they just don't have it.

Do they intentionally reserve the seat behind every coach for some hot chick with big hooters? Just curious how that works perfectly in every game it seems.

The Oilers need to score and make a game out of this darn game.
Sickening another win for a Florida team

I was thinking about the same 2 things myself!
These girls need to be behind the opposing teams bench as a distraction

I get that it’s 3 games to 2 but if Florida doesn’t allow game 1 to fall into OT and doesn’t fall asleep in period (2) of game (4)…this series is over…it’s been entertaining…but Florida is the better and deeper team…Oilers have to play a perfect game…and they just don’t have the defensive depth or goaltending to do that. If McJesus can’t walk on water and carry them on his back from here on out…there is no Cup going back to Canada…not this year anyway.

What a disappointing match tonight after such a terrific first four games of the SCF. Oilers aren’t getting anything from their studs.

And the Oilers gave up as that 3rd goal was happening. You could see it. Effort was lazy before the poor goaltending by Skinner (shocking, right?).

You could see their drive just leave as the Panthers kept the forecheck.

I guess its hard for McDavid to win a trophy without Binnington carrying him. That last sequence, Skinner will get blasted, but the Oilers had 5 other players on the ice just standing still for the entire time the puck was in the zone.
